Robin Hickman
Robin has had several careers to date, beginning work as a telecommunications technician followed by seven years as a teacher after graduating from UBC with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. He formed Xana Network Systems in 1991 to provide computer products and expertise to Crown corporations, businesses and consumers. In 1998, Robin and his wife Mary moved the company to Salmon Arm and merged with Pharmasave in April 2005. In his free time, Robin enjoys spending time with his wife, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, cats and donkeys.
Mary Hickman
Mary’s professional background is in Nursing which she came to later in life after having a family. After nursing in a hospital for a few years she became involved with Community Service agencies in Vancouver. Mary administered two Home Support agencies then worked for a Provincial Health Association. After traveling around the world for an extended period of time, she and her husband Robin moved back to Salmon Arm in 1998 and continued developing their business, Xana Network Systems. Being a wife, mother, grandmother and working on her property fills Mary’s free time.
Robert Sargent
Robert Sargent has been working with computers for nearly fifteen years, and has worked extensively in website design since September of 2007. His primary interests include mixed martial arts, music and a variety of outdoor summer sports.
Graduating with honours from S.A.S.S. in 2002, Robert is currently enrolled in Website Design & Management courses through the University of Victoria, and is also working with the C# programming language and ASP.NET framework to create dynamic websites.
Robert is a former Administrator of a popular gaming website, and currently owns and manages two sites. He lives in Salmon Arm, and is active in community events such as the annual Roots & Blues Music Festival.
